Bronxville Community Church

WHAT TO EXPECT

A typical Sunday includes:

  > Music and Singing

  > Prayer

  > Brief Announcements

  > A Talk About Jesus from the Bible (~ 40 minutes)

Come a few minutes early, you will find a friendly, casual environment and you can enjoy some coffee and a bagel too. We want you to feel welcomed and comfortable. Your level of participation in our service is entirely up to you; we won’t ask you to do anything that you are not comfortable with.

On most Sundays, we offer StartingPoint following our service. This is an opportunity for you to find out more about us and ask any questions that you may have.

KIDS

We love kids at Bronxville Community Church. They are as much a part of our church family as anyone else.

We have two programs:

    > Age 6 months - 5 years

    > Kindergarten - 5th Grade

Programs begin at 10AM so come early to register and drop off your kids. A typical Sunday involves music, videos, fun activities, and a lesson from the Bible.

* All of our teachers and caregivers have been thoroughly trained and screened. Safety is our highest priority.

Rich & Vicki Hoffman

Lead Pastor

The thought of being a pastor or a church planter was not part of our life plan.  After spending over 10 years working for a variety of Wall Street firms and then a few years in the political arena, my (Rich) life dramatically changed.  In 2007, I embraced God’s call on my life and changed directions.  Vicki and I headed out into full-time ministry and three years later, in May of 2010, we launched the Church.

Pastor Rich holds a BS in Business from the University of Pittsburgh, an MA in Theology from Regent University and is enrolled in a doctoral program at Wesley Theological Seminary.

Vicki earned her degree in Organizational Behavior from New York University and studied Practical Theology at Princeton Theological Seminary. Vicki works full-time as a Director for a regional hospital.

Rich and Vicki were married in 1994 and have three children.

Benoit & Heather Van Lesberghe

Elder - Worship Leaders

Benoit and Heather have a passion for music.  They use their amazing talents to serve our Church as the leaders of our Music Ministry.

Benoit is originally from Belgium.  He served 6 years as a University campus pastor in Louvain-la-Neuve.  From there, Benoit spent 3 years serving the Lord in West Africa.  In 1997, he moved to the United States and helped to start churches in NYC.  He holds a BA from Continental Theological Seminary in Brussels and an MA from the University of Kent - Canterbury, England. Benoit was appointed as an Elder in 2011.

Heather was born and raised in Birmingham, England.  She moved to the United States 30 years ago.  Heather has lead dance groups, worship teams, and is a talented song writer.

Both Benoit and Heather are teachers.  They have 6 children.

Nnamdi & Gozie Ebere

Elder

Nnamdi serves as an Elder in the church.  He and his wife Gozie met in Boston and they testify that their love for the Lord brought them together. They were married Labor Day weekend in 2013. Nnamdi and Gozie are both of Nigerian descent.

Nnamdi has a masters degree from Southern New Hampshire University and is a marketing professional as well as an entertainer.  Gozie is a Pediatrician and she volunteers in our Kids program.
